VM Bank statements and how to import one.

VM Express lets you pull up account activity for any dates and download it, and VM emails credit card statements each month. This page follows VM's own FAQ for both and shows how to import the file.

Get your VM Bank statement

These steps are from the FAQ on VM's online banking site. VM calls this account activity, and separately says how to ask for a formal statement.

Account activity, in VM Express Online

  1. Log in to VM Express Online and click your account number to see the past month's transactions.
  2. Choose Show Filters to set your own dates. VM allows up to one year at a time.
  3. Download the activity as a PDF, an Excel file or a CSV file.

Credit card statement

  1. VM delivers it by email each month to the primary cardholder.
  2. If it hasn't arrived, check your junk or spam folder.

To ask for an account statement, VM says to email manager@myvmgroup.com, chat with it online or visit a branch. The Member Engagement number is 888-YES-VMBS (937-8627).

What to expect

EveryDolla handles clear PDFs and bank exports best, and a CSV or Excel download is a bank export.

Account activity covers the dates you choose. For a month, set the first and last day of that month.

A credit card statement arrives as a file in your email. Save it to your phone or computer, then upload it.

Bring it into EveryDolla

Sign in to EveryDolla and choose Import statement from the add menu. Upload the file: a PDF, a photo, or a CSV, XLSX, OFX or QFX file, up to 4 MB.

eVe, the assistant in the app, goes through the file and builds a draft with each purchase, its merchant, date and amount. Rows that need a second look are flagged, and a purchase you already have from an alert is matched instead of added twice. Nothing is saved until you check the draft and press Confirm & save.

A statement can run to 30 pages and 500 rows. If the PDF is password protected, upload an unlocked copy or a clear photo of the pages. It works with a statement from any bank, so it also covers purchases a bank never sends an alert for. For the alerts VM Bank does send, see VM Bank transaction alerts.

Every step above comes from a page below. If VM Bank changes how statements work, its own pages are the ones to trust.

Bank names and logos belong to their owners. EveryDolla is not affiliated with VM Bank; the logo shows which bank a page is about.
