Refund Policy

1. EveryDolla is free right now

During early access, EveryDolla is free and we don’t take a payment card, so there is nothing to refund. This policy explains how refunds will work once we offer paid plans, so you know before you ever pay. It is part of our Terms of Service.

2. It depends on where you paid

• On our website (paid through Stripe): we handle refunds ourselves, as this policy describes.
• In the iOS app (paid through Apple): Apple takes the payment, so only Apple can refund it. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or in the App Store under your account’s purchase history. Apple decides on those requests under its own rules; we are happy to help you with them.

Your receipt says which one you used.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel a subscription at any time. It won’t renew, and you keep everything you paid for until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling doesn’t delete your information.

• Bought on our website: cancel in EveryDolla under Account.
• Bought in the iOS app: cancel in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before it renews.

Deleting your EveryDolla account cancels a subscription bought on our website. It does not cancel one bought through Apple: cancel that in Settings as well.

4. Free trials

If a plan starts with a free trial, we tell you when it ends and what you will be charged. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged. If you forget and are charged when the trial becomes a paid plan, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of that first charge.

5. When we refund

For payments made on our website, we give a full refund:

• for a new subscription, monthly or yearly, if you ask within 14 days of the first charge;
• for a yearly renewal, if you ask within 14 days of the renewal charge;
• for a mistake: a duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, or the wrong amount;
• for a charge you didn’t authorize, after we confirm it with you;
• if we can’t deliver what you paid for, for example if a paid feature is unavailable for a long time or we stop offering the Services. In that case we refund the unused part of your billing period.

Apart from these cases, we don’t refund part of a billing period after the 14 days, but you keep your plan until the period ends. If something has gone wrong for you, write to us anyway: we look at every request fairly.

A refund is for the amount you actually paid, after any discount or promotion code. When we refund a subscription in full, the paid features end then.

6. How to ask for a refund

Email info@everydolla.tech from the address on your EveryDolla account, with the date and amount of the charge. We reply within 5 business days. An approved refund goes back to the card or account you paid with; banks usually show it within 5 to 10 business days.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster, and a dispute may pause your account while it is open.

7. Your legal rights

This policy doesn’t take away any right you have under the consumer law where you live. For example, if you live in the EU or the UK, you may cancel a new subscription within 14 days of buying it; if you start using it during that time, we may deduct the part you used, as the law allows.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the date at the top will say when, and a change applies only to payments made after it takes effect.
