Terms of Service

Effective October 8, 2026

The short version

EveryDolla helps you see and plan your spending. It isn’t a bank, can’t move your money, and doesn’t give financial advice.

Your figures depend on your bank’s alerts and on AI, both of which can be wrong: your bank’s records are the ones that count.

Your information stays yours, and you can delete your account at any time.

EveryDolla is free to use. EveryDolla Plus is a paid plan, sold on our website by Paddle and in the iPhone app by Apple. It renews until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time.

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and EveryDolla, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“EveryDolla”, “we”, “us”). They cover our website at everydolla.tech, the web app, the EveryDolla iOS app and eVe, our assistant (together, the “Services”). Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy are part of these terms. When you buy EveryDolla Plus or eVe credits, the rules in EveryDolla Plus, eVe credits and payments also apply.

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.

2. Who can use EveryDolla

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or not an adult where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and supervise your use. You may use the Services only where doing so is legal, and only for your own personal finances.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple. Signing in with either one, using the same verified email address, opens the same account, and you can link the other method from Account. You are responsible for what happens in your account, so keep your Google and Apple accounts and your devices secure, and tell us right away at info@everydolla.tech if you think someone else has used your account.

Please give us accurate information. We may suspend or close an account that was opened with false information or used in breach of these terms.

4. What EveryDolla does, and doesn’t do

EveryDolla helps you see and plan your spending. It receives your banks’ transaction alerts through a Gmail account you connect, lets you add expenses, statements and receipts yourself, files purchases into categories, and gives you budgets, insights and eVe.

  • We are not a bank or a financial institution. EveryDolla never holds your money and cannot move it, pay bills or make purchases.
  • We don’t give professional advice. Nothing in the Services, including what eVe says, is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Decisions about your money are yours.
  • Your figures may not be complete or exact. They depend on the alerts your bank sends, which can be late, missing or wrong, on exchange rates, and on AI that can make mistakes. Your bank’s own records are the ones that count; check anything important against them.
  • eVe can be wrong, and she may search the web or open websites for you. She takes an action on a website, or changes your budget, only after you approve it, and you are responsible for what you approve. Don’t give eVe passwords for accounts you don’t want her to use.

We work to keep the Services running and useful, and we may add, change or remove features. We will give you notice before removing a feature you pay for.

5. Gmail and other services you connect

Connecting Gmail is optional. When you connect a Gmail account, you give us read-only permission to receive your banks’ alerts from it, as our Privacy Policy describes, and you confirm that the account is yours or that you are allowed to connect it. You can disconnect it at any time.

Google, Apple, your bank and websites eVe opens for you are run by other companies under their own terms. We aren’t responsible for their services, their content, or changes they make that affect EveryDolla, such as a bank changing its alerts.

6. Your information and content

What you put into EveryDolla, such as your purchases, documents, chats and notes, stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to provide the Services to you, as our Privacy Policy explains. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups until they expire.

You confirm that you have the right to give us anything you upload, and that it doesn’t break the law or anyone else’s rights.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything. We appreciate them.

7. Using EveryDolla fairly

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for anything illegal, fraudulent or harmful to others;
  • connect a Gmail account or upload documents that aren’t yours to share;
  • try to get into accounts, data or systems that aren’t yours, or get around our security, limits or fair-use rules;
  • copy, scrape, reverse engineer, resell or build a competing product from the Services, except where the law allows it;
  • overload or disrupt the Services, including with bots or scripts other than our published API used as documented;
  • use eVe to act on websites against their terms, or to harass, deceive or harm anyone.

Some features have fair-use limits, such as how many eVe replies you can get in an hour. The app tells you when you reach one.

8. EveryDolla Plus, eVe credits and payments

Free and Plus

You can use EveryDolla for free. EveryDolla Plus is a paid plan: US$6.99 a month or US$54.99 a year. It gives eVe 100 credits a month instead of 25, and the extra features listed on our pricing page. Before you pay, the checkout shows the price, any tax and what the plan includes.

During our launch, nothing in EveryDolla is locked, so a free account can use the features listed for Plus. Which features are free may change over time, and Plus may later include features that are free today. We will tell you in the app or by email before a feature you can use for free becomes part of Plus only.

Buying on our website

On our website, Plus and eVe credits are sold by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipts and invoices, and its name may appear on your bank statement. The sale itself is a contract between you and Paddle under Paddle’s Buyer Terms. EveryDolla provides the Services you bought under these terms, and we never see your full card number.

Prices are in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the charge and may add its own fee.

Buying in the iPhone app

Where the iPhone app offers Plus or eVe credits, Apple sells them through In-App Purchase, under Apple’s terms. Apple charges your Apple Account, and you manage or cancel the subscription in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds for these purchases go through Apple’s own process.

You have one plan and one eVe credit balance, whichever way you paid. If you end up with Plus from both our website and Apple at the same time, we cancel the website subscription and refund it, in full or for the unused days, so you don’t pay twice.

Renewal and cancelling

  • Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and is charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time. Bought on our website: in EveryDolla under Account, then Plan and billing. Bought through Apple: in your iPhone’s Settings, at least 24 hours before it renews.
  • After you cancel, you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Then your account moves to the free plan, and your information stays.
  • We don’t refund the unused part of a period because you cancelled, except as our Refund Policy says or the law requires.
  • Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on our website straight away. It doesn’t cancel one bought through Apple.

Free trials, offers and codes

  • There is no free trial at the moment. If a plan offers one, the checkout says when it ends and what you will be charged, and you won’t be charged if you cancel before it ends.
  • Launch offer. Plus bought monthly on our website by 31 October 2026, 11:59 pm Jamaica time, is half price for its first 3 monthly payments (US$3.49 instead of US$6.99). After that it renews at the normal monthly price. The offer doesn’t apply to the yearly plan or to purchases through Apple.
  • Only one discount applies at a time, so a promotion code you enter replaces the launch offer. A code or offer has no cash value and follows any conditions shown with it. We may end an offer at any time, but a discount you already have runs its full length.

Price changes

We may change the price of Plus. If you already subscribe, we will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it applies from your first renewal after that. If you don’t want to pay it, cancel before then. For a subscription through Apple, Apple also tells you about a price rise and may ask you to agree to it, under its own rules.

eVe credits

  • eVe uses credits. What a request costs depends on the kind of request: a deeper answer, a live voice conversation or reading a document costs more than a quick answer. A reply that fails, or that you stop, uses none.
  • Every account gets 25 credits each calendar month, and Plus gets 100. They refill on the 1st, Jamaica time, and unused monthly credits don’t carry over to the next month.
  • You can also buy credit packs: 100 credits for US$4.99 or 250 for US$9.99, as one-time purchases. Bought credits never expire. They are used only after the month’s credits run out, and they work on the web and in the iPhone app.
  • Credits aren’t money. They have no cash value, can’t be transferred, sold or exchanged, and can be used only in EveryDolla. Credits left in an account are lost when the account is deleted.
  • We may change what requests cost or the monthly allowances, and we will tell you in the app before such a change takes effect.

Refunds

Refunds follow our Refund Policy. Refunds for purchases on our website are paid through Paddle; purchases through Apple can be refunded only by Apple.

9. Our property

The Services, including our software, designs, text, graphics, eVe’s character and the EveryDolla name and logos, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for your own finances under these terms. You may not use our name or logos without our written permission.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using EveryDolla and delete your account at any time from Account, in the web app or the iOS app. Deleting your account deletes your information, as our Privacy Policy describes. It also cancels a subscription bought on our website straight away. A subscription bought through Apple must be cancelled in your iPhone’s Settings as well.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the Services. Unless the law or a security risk stops us, we will tell you why and give you a chance to get a copy of your information or delete it. If we stop offering the Services altogether, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice.

The sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability, disputes and these final terms continue after the agreement ends.

11. Disclaimers

We provide the Services with care, but “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including any implied promises of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability. Some places don’t allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says cannot be limited.

12. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, EveryDolla and its members, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for lost profits, lost data or decisions you made based on the Services, even if we were told they were possible.

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims about the Services is limited to the greater of what you paid for the Services (to us, or to Paddle or Apple for them) in the six months before the claim arose and US$50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

13. Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, or because of content you gave us, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

14. Governing law and disputes

The laws of Jamaica govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.

If you have a problem, please write to info@everydolla.tech first; most issues are resolved quickly. If we can’t resolve a dispute informally within 35 days, it will be settled by binding arbitration under the Rules of the International Commercial Arbitration Court of the European Arbitration Chamber, by three arbitrators, seated in Kingston, Jamaica, in English. Disputes are decided individually, not as a class or representative action.

Either of us may instead take a claim to a small-claims court, or ask a court for an urgent order to protect intellectual property or stop unauthorized use of the Services or of personal information. Where the law does not allow this arbitration agreement, the courts of Jamaica decide.

15. Terms for the iOS app

If you use the EveryDolla app from Apple’s App Store:

  • This agreement is between you and EveryDolla, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app, its content, and its maintenance and support.
  • If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it doesn’t meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection and privacy claims, and claims that it infringes someone’s intellectual property.
  • You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or on a US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must follow the terms of any third-party service you use with the app, such as your wireless carrier.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

16. General

  • Changes. We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless it is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before then; continuing to use the Services means you accept the new terms.
  • Whole agreement. These terms, with the policies they mention, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.
  • Severability. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • No waiver. If we don’t enforce part of these terms right away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Transfer. You may not transfer this agreement. We may transfer it as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, and this agreement continues to protect you.
  • Events beyond our control. We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events we can’t reasonably control.
  • Notices. We may send you notices by email or in the app. You agree to receive agreements and notices electronically.
