Scotiabank's pages for Jamaica tell you where statements live. They don't list the clicks, so we haven't written clicks for you to follow.

What Scotiabank publishes

  1. Sign in to Scotia OnLine. If you haven't registered, Scotiabank points you to Register Now on jm.scotiabank.com.
  2. Your statements are in Scotia OnLine, and the Scotia Caribbean Mobile App uses the same login.
  3. Scotiabank's page about the updated Scotia OnLine says you can download all your statements in one go.
  4. If you can't find a statement, call 888-4-SCOTIA (888-472-6842).

Scotiabank's 2020 announcement says you get an email and an SMS when a statement is ready. Those are reminders. The statement itself is in Scotia OnLine.

What to expect

Scotiabank's move to e-statements took effect on 4 June 2020, which it put down to postal restrictions at the time. There is no paper statement to wait for.

Download the statement to your phone or computer first, because EveryDolla needs the file itself.

If you want several months in EveryDolla, import them one file at a time.

Bring it into EveryDolla

Sign in to EveryDolla and choose Import statement from the add menu. Upload the file: a PDF, a photo, or a CSV, XLSX, OFX or QFX file, up to 4 MB.

eVe, the assistant in the app, goes through the file and builds a draft with each purchase, its merchant, date and amount. Rows that need a second look are flagged, and a purchase you already have from an alert is matched instead of added twice. Nothing is saved until you check the draft and press Confirm & save.

A statement can run to 30 pages and 500 rows. If the PDF is password protected, upload an unlocked copy or a clear photo of the pages. It works with a statement from any bank, so it also covers purchases a bank never sends an alert for. For the alerts Scotiabank does send, see Scotiabank transaction alerts.

Every step above comes from a page below. If Scotiabank changes how statements work, its own pages are the ones to trust.

Questions

Where do I find my Scotiabank statement?

In Scotia OnLine, or in the Scotia Caribbean Mobile App with the same login. Scotiabank's pages don't list the clicks, so if you can't find it, call 888-4-SCOTIA.

Does Scotiabank Jamaica still send paper statements?

Its e-statement move took effect on 4 June 2020. Statements are online in Scotia OnLine.

Can I put a Scotiabank statement into EveryDolla?

Yes. Download it from Scotia OnLine, then upload the file to EveryDolla. It works with a PDF, a photo or a spreadsheet, and nothing is saved until you check the purchases and confirm.

Scotiabank already sends you an alert for every purchase. Sign in and those same alerts come to EveryDolla.

Give eVe a statement and she adds the purchases on it. Sign in and the alerts your bank already sends come to EveryDolla too, so the two fill each other's gaps.
