FGB's e-statements FAQ explains how they work but doesn't list menu clicks, so these are the facts it does state.

What FGB publishes

  1. E-statements are only available in Global Access, FGB's secure online banking, and not in the FGB mobile app.
  2. FGB emails the address it holds when the previous month's statement is ready.
  3. Log in to Global Access to view it, and print it or save it to your computer.
  4. The last six months of e-statements are available there.

FGB says statements arrive within five days of the month's end. For anything else, call 888-CALL-FGB (225-5342).

What to expect

Six months is the window. A statement older than that has to be requested from FGB, so save each one when it arrives.

Save the statement as a PDF file before you upload it. If your browser only prints it, choose Save as PDF in the print window.

If the notice email never arrives, check the address FGB holds for you first. The same address receives your card alerts.

Bring it into EveryDolla

Sign in to EveryDolla and choose Import statement from the add menu. Upload the file: a PDF, a photo, or a CSV, XLSX, OFX or QFX file, up to 4 MB.

eVe, the assistant in the app, goes through the file and builds a draft with each purchase, its merchant, date and amount. Rows that need a second look are flagged, and a purchase you already have from an alert is matched instead of added twice. Nothing is saved until you check the draft and press Confirm & save.

A statement can run to 30 pages and 500 rows. If the PDF is password protected, upload an unlocked copy or a clear photo of the pages. It works with a statement from any bank, so it also covers purchases a bank never sends an alert for. For the alerts First Global Bank does send, see First Global Bank transaction alerts.
